- What is the minimum investment for Turkish citizenship?
- USD 400,000 in real estate, kept for 3 years. The bank deposit, government debt instrument, fund unit, private pension and fixed capital routes require USD 500,000, and the employment route requires jobs for at least 50 people.
- Can I sell the property later?
- The title deed carries a 3-year no-sale annotation. Selling within 3 years, or later transferring the property back to the previous owner or that owner's first-degree relatives, cancels the investment certificate.
- How long does the process take?
- No official processing time is published. For a complete file, advisers commonly report about 3 to 6 months from filing to the decision, and 6 to 12 months from property search to passport. No timeframe can be guaranteed.
- Can I get a residence permit by buying property?
- Yes, if the property is residential. For property bought from 16 October 2023, the title-deed sale price must be at least USD 200,000. The permit can be renewed while you own the property.
