Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage, work in a similar way. This policy explains which ones www.investment.com.tr uses. In line with the approach of the Personal Data Protection Authority's Guide on Cookie Practices (2022) and the EU rules, strictly necessary technologies are used without consent, and all others only with your explicit consent. This policy complements our Privacy Notice.

• gp-consent (our own, stored in your browser's local storage, not a cookie): records whether you accepted ("granted") or declined ("denied") analytics, so that analytics stay off unless you accepted and the banner is not shown on every page. It has no expiry date: it remains until you clear this site's data in your browser, and you can change it at any time. It is not sent to our server.

This entry does not require consent, because it is strictly necessary to respect your choice (KVKK art. 5(2)(ç) and (f), to the extent personal data is involved; in the EEA, the exemption for strictly necessary storage under the ePrivacy rules).

• Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC), first-party cookies set on our domain: _ga (distinguishes visitors, 2 years) and _ga_<ID> (keeps the session state, 2 years). They count visits and show which pages are used, so we can improve the site.

No Google Analytics script is loaded before you click "Accept"; Google Consent Mode is set to "denied" by default. Google may process this data outside Türkiye, including in the United States (see section 6 of the Privacy Notice). We do not use advertising or remarketing cookies.

• YouTube videos are embedded in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). When such a page loads, your browser connects to YouTube (Google), which receives technical data such as your IP address; YouTube may store further data on your device when you play a video.
• Google Maps: where a page shows an embedded map, Google receives technical data such as your IP address when the map loads and may set its own cookies. Links to Google Maps only open Google Maps when you click them.
• WhatsApp buttons are plain links; nothing is loaded from WhatsApp until you click, and WhatsApp's own terms apply once you open it.

These providers act under their own privacy policies, and we do not control the cookies they set.

When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or decline analytics cookies with equally visible buttons; declining has no effect on how the site works. You can change your choice or withdraw your consent at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. Withdrawal stops further analytics collection; _ga cookies already set remain until they expire or you delete them in your browser settings, where you can also block cookies.
