Spouse and children of Turkish citizens are eligible to apply for family residence permit in Turkey. The children have to be below 18 years old in order to apply for Turkish family residence permit and the spouse needs to have an official marriage with the Turkish citizen. The family of foreigners who have a work permit in Turkey are also eligible to apply for family residence permit in Turkey.
Turkish family residence permit is given up to 3 years and it can be renewed if the family conditions are met. Only spouse and children below 18 years old of a Turkish citizens can apply for family residence permit in Turkey. Also, the spouse and children below 18 years old of a Turkish work permit holder foreigner are eligible to apply for the family residence permit up to the expiration date of the work permit. Father, mother, siblings and children above 18 years old are not eligible to apply for family residence permit in Turkey.
