The entry ban period is shorter if foreigner makes the visa overstay penalty. Below is the calculation of entry ban duration in Turkey for foreigners who paid their visa overstay penalty: If foreigners go to the Turkish Border to the exit voluntarily and pay the overstay penalty, they don’t receive entry ban for visa overstay of less than 3 months. If foreigners go to the Turkish Border to the exit voluntarily and pay the overstay penalty, they receive 1 months entry ban for visa overstay of between 3 months and 6 months. If foreigners go to the Turkish Border to exit voluntarily and pay the overstay penalty, they receive 1 year entry ban for visa overstay of between 1 year and 2 years. If foreigners go to the Turkish Border to exit voluntarily and pay the overstay penalty, they receive 2 years entry ban for visa overstay of between 2 year and 3 years. If foreigners go to the Turkish Border to exit voluntarily and pay the overstay penalty, they receive 5 years entry ban for visa overstay of more than 3 years.
