Foreigners can directly apply for work permit while they are in Turkey if they already have a valid Turkish residence permit card. With that transfer to work permit, they don’t need to go back to their country to apply for work visa at the Turkish Embassy.
In order to be eligible to apply for work permit directly, they beed to have an active residence permit card, such as touristic residence permit, student residnece permit, family residence permit, etc.
The employer can make the work permit application by writing the foreigner id number (yabanci kimlik numarasi) of the foreigner to the ministry of labor’s website ecalismaizni. Then, the employer will add company documents and diploma of foreigners.
After the ninistry of labor approves the work permit, the work permit card is delivered to the office address of the company. The foreigner can get work permit without leaving Turkey.
